Missioteca respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through missioteca.org and our giving platform, which supports our initiatives: Proclama, WordUp, AguaGuate, and Arise. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. By using our website or making a donation, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

  • •  Improve our website and programs.
  • •  Comply with legal and accounting obligations.

3.Text Messages (SMS)

If you subscribe to receive text messages from Missioteca:

4.Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We may share it only with:

  • •  Service providers who process donations or communications on our behalf (currently Funraise and our email/SMS messaging provider), required to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.
  • •  Legal authorities, if required by law.

5.How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Payment information is processed by certified external providers; Missioteca does not directly store full credit or debit card data.

7.International Donors

Missioteca is based in the United States, and the information you provide is processed and stored there. We apply the protections described in this policy regardless of where you live.

8.How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, to maintain an accurate record of your donations or to comply with legal and accounting obligations. In some cases we may retain it longer if required by law or necessary to defend or bring a legal claim.
